BANNER SOFTWARE IMPLEMENTATION IN SOUTH CAROLINA
When the largest University in South Carolina started $40 million dollar Banner software implementation, they contacted our expert consultants to provide Business analyst services in support of Ellucian staff already on the engagement. Our team provide consulting solutions for the Banner Student and Student Accounts Receivable module implementations. Services included Business Process Analysis (BPA), fit-gap analysis, recommending best practices, training for University staff and end users, data mapping and managing data conversation. Consultants also added value by participating in various implementation team committees (such as data standards committee, change control board, and project task prioritizations) to make the implementation a reality. In many instances, the University needed customized solutions for their operational needs that required programmer and development modifications to the software and our consultants created and mapped solutions with the functional users and then developed the specification requirements for the programmers/developers.

COST ACCOUNTING ANALYSIS FOR KINDERGARTEN THRU GRADE 20
This Nashville, Tennessee University was shocked when the elementary school asked for more budget funding because it believed it was funding post-secondary operations. Our consultant was called in to do an activity-based cost accounting analysis to allocate shared expenses, administrative, and overhead cost in order to determine the operational contribution margins for the k-12 operations vs. post-secondary operations. Our consultant used OMB A-110 sot allocation principles to develop a tailored-to-need cost accounting analysis, In addition, our consultant worked with plant operations staff to audit the square feet for each building o obtain a foundation for cost allocations, The analysis reported contribution margins down to the class and instructor level. Ever wondered which of your faculty gets the most bang for the buck?

STATE LONGITUDINAL AND EDUCATION DATA PROJECT

When the Office of the State Superintendent of Education recieved a grant from the U.S. Department of Education to develop a comprehensive data system to follow its students from kindergarten through postsecondary education and into the workfource, it needed its sole University to provide data for measurable outcomes. We assessed requirements, evaluated funding, develop the detail project plan and provided project and resource management services. In assition, we provided programming and code development to normalize data within the University's Banner ERP database (Oracle) and conducted business process analysis to help in sustainability efforts for data integrity in future years.
RECLAIM OUR FINANNCE SYSTEM IN THE TENNESSEE

After a multi-million dollar relational database software implementation left the finance and accounting team disoriented and confused, the CFO asked one of our consultants to reclaim the finance and accounting system. However, this was no ordinary assignment as the CFO wanted the finance and accounting team totally re-structed (flattened out) to become a self directed work team reporting directly to the CFO once the assignment was completed. Specialized skills were necessary to assist the client creating the right staffing compliment to make this three-year project success. In addition, our consultant was instrumental in re-implementing the Chart of Accounts, and either implemented or interfaced the following modules: (1) Student Accounts Receivable (2) HR/Payroll (3) Fixed Asset (4) Alumni/Development (5) Endowment Management & (6) Banner Document Management System (BDMS).
